Foundation · Top left of layout
- There is only one foundation.
- All discarded cards are played to this foundation.
- Complete this pile to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundation
- Discard any two cards that total fourteen. Jacks are worth 11, Queens 12 and Kings 13.
- Only the topmost cards can be paired.
Reserve · Top of layout, on center
- Each pile can hold only one card, which can be paired with cards in the tableau.
- Empty spaces are not filled.
Stock · Top right of layout
- After all possible moves are made, one card is dealt out to each tableau pile to create more possibilities.
