Foundations · Top left of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundations
- Build up or down in suit.
- Only the topmost card can be played to the foundations and to the other tableau piles. Unless there are empty cells or tableau piles, then any built unit of cards can be moved as a group if there are sufficient number of empty cells or tableau piles available to store the cards individually.
- Empty spaces may be filled by any available card.
Cells · Top right of layout
- Only one card is allowed in each cell.
- At the start of the game one card is dealt to each cell.
- The topmost card can be played to the foundations and tableau piles.
