Foundations · 8 piles, Top of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundations
- Build down by alternate color.
- Groups of cards in sequence down by alternate color may be moved as a unit.
- Empty spaces are filled only by King or groups of cards headed by a King.
Reserve · Top right of layout
- Storage location for Kings.
- Up to 3 Kings may be placed here.
Stock · Below reserve
- Turn cards up one at a time from the stock.
- One redeal.
Waste · Left of stock
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations, reserve and tableau.
