Foundations · Top of layout
- The base card for this game will vary and is the lowest ranking card.
- Build up in suit from the base card to the rank just below the base card.
- Build Aces on top of Kings when necessary.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Inner Tableau · Center of layout
- Build down in suit.
- Build Kings on top of Aces when necessary.
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations or the other tableau piles.
- Any built unit of cards can be moved to another tableau pile.
- Empty spaces can be filled by any card.
Outer Tableau · Below foundations left and right sides of Inner tableau
- Build down by alternate color.
- Build Kings on top of Aces when necessary.
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations or the other tableau piles.
- Any built unit of cards can be moved to another tableau pile.
- Empty spaces can be filled by any card.
Reserve · Below foundations
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations and both tableau piles.
Stock · Top right of layout
- Turn cards up one at a time from the stock.
- There are three redeals.
Waste · Left of stock
- The topmost card is available for play on the foundations and both tableau piles.
