Foundations · Top of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundations
- Build down regardless of suit.
- The topmost cards are available for play on the foundations and other tableau piles.
- Groups of cards in sequence down regardless of suit may be moved as a unit.
- Empty spaces can be filled by any card, or legal group of cards.
Stock · Top right of layout
- Cards from this pile are dealt out one at a time to the first tableau pile.
- There is no redeal.
