Foundations · Top left of layout
- The foundations are not built on to directly.
- The goal is to create eight sequences of 13 cards of the same color from King to Ace.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundations
- Build down regardless of suit wrapping King on Ace. However, it is best to try and build in color if possible.
- Any face up card in the tableau may be played to another pile as long as all cards above it are built in sequence and in color.
- As face down cards become exposed, they can be flipped over and are now available for play.
- Empty spaces can be filled with any card or legal group of cards.
- Cards are dealt to these piles from the stock.
Stock · Top right of layout
- After all possible moves are made, one card is dealt out to each tableau pile to create more possibilities.
- There must be at least one card in each pile before more cards can be dealt out.
