- The foundations are not built on to directly.
- The goal is to create eight suites of 13 cards built down in suit from King to Ace.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Below foundations
- Build down regardless of suit.
- Groups of cards in sequence down in suit may be moved as a unit.
- A space can be filled by any card or legal group of cards.
Stock · Top right of layout
- Deals 1 card to each non-empty tableau.
- No cards are dealt to empty tableau piles.
