Foundations · Top left of layout
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Center of layout
- At the start of the game 1 card is dealt to the first pile, 2 cards to the 2nd, and so on.
- The top card is face up.
- Build down by alternate color.
- Move groups of cards if they are in sequence down by alternate color.
- Fill spaces with Kings or groups of cards with a King at the bottom.
Stock · Top right of layout
- Turn up one card at a time to each of the 3 waste piles.
- There is no redeal.
Waste · Left of stock
- The top card of each pile is available for play on the foundations or tableau.
