Foundations · Top left of layout
- At the start of the game the Aces are dealt here.
- Build up in suit from Ace to King.
- Complete these piles to win the game.
Tableau · Center of layout
- At the start of the game 4 cards are dealt to each pile.
- Build down in suit.
- Groups of cards in descending sequence down in suit may be moved as a unit.
- Spaces may be filled by any card.
Stock · Top right of layout
- Turn up one card at a time to the waste.
- Unlimited redeals.
Waste · Left of stock
- Top card is available for play on the foundations or tableau.
